T-slot framing questions
What is a T-slot framing system?
A T-slot framing system uses extruded aluminum profiles with T-shaped slots on each face. Brackets and fasteners slide into the slots so profiles can be joined at any point, creating strong, lightweight frames that are easy to adjust, expand or take apart.
What is the difference between fractional and metric T-slot aluminum extrusion?
Fractional profiles (10 and 15 Series) are dimensioned in inches and use inch hardware. Metric profiles (20, 25 and 40 Series) are dimensioned in millimeters and use metric hardware. Choose the family that matches your drawings and existing equipment.
Are TSLOTS B-Series profiles compatible with Bosch extrusions?
Yes. TSLOTS B-Series profiles in 20, 30, 40 and 45 Series are designed to be compatible with Bosch extrusions, which makes them a practical option for extending or repairing existing frames.
Can T-slot extrusions be cut to length and machined?
Yes. Extrusions can be supplied cut to length, and custom machining, panel notching, finishing and full assembly services are available. Send us your dimensions or CAD file with your quote request.
